I just ate my peach, but I'm afraid the banana knows it's next. Granted, the banana will not be as good as the peach, but it's all I have left. I have about 5 more peaches waiting at home for me. If I didn't know better, I'd say this baby likes peaches. I'm trying to think of a boy name that sounds like peaches... actually, I think I'll just have to name him Peach. Peach Sensenich.
Only 2 more days left at work, then it's on to baby preparation...

Baby-Head News for Sisters
Today marks day one of week 14... only 26 more weeks to go.
This morning, I've eaten 2 bags of fruit snacks, a peach, a banana, and have moved on to the only snack that remains - a bag of Famous Amos chocolate chip cookies. This is in an effort to tide me over 'til lunch, at which time we are celebrating a birthday here in the office, so I am forced to make a selection from the "Thai Food" menu. I chose fried rice, and I hope Baby-Head likes it. In addition to exploring Thai food, Baby-Head has made a friend today. The receptionist rubbed my tummy and said, "Hi baby, it's Auntie Sokhan!" I have to say, I don't think I mind the whole "people touch your tummy when you're pregnant" thing, but I guess I always thought my tummy would be very far away by the time people wanted to start touching it. At this point, I still feel like people are dangerously close to touching other parts of my body.
I don't have any pictures to post at the moment, but I leave you with this thought...
What if we name Baby-Head... Chip Oat Lee Sensenich?

Hallareen
It's that time of year again. The time where everything in LA is exactly the same as it was 3 months ago. I mean, I guess you could say it's fall, but other than ordering caramel apple cider at Starbucks, driving 45 minutes to see a man-made pumpkin patch, and pretending like I need a light sweater at night... everything is the same.
Still growing my hair out, though. I find that this is not such a horrifc process if you aren't forced to do it in front of loved ones. And since Brent doesn't care about haircuts and I dont' see Liz everyday (sad face), I can grow my hair out in all of its awkward-stage glory.

Things of that nature...
Somehow Monday's keep happening. Even though I try to stop them with protesting and denial every Sunday night, they still manage to make their way into my life!
On the brighter side, my hair is still growing. I think I have what you might call a 'shag' hairstyle as of late. Once I find the strength to take a picture of myself in the mirror, I'll show you just what I'm referring to.
I just ate Paneer Tikki Masala for lunch and boy does it smell. I know my coworkers are mad at me - I'm mad at me. Looking back, I wish I would have eaten one of my hot pockets but hindsight is 20/20.
Also, there's still a sneaky little voice in my head telling me to cut hair. If anyone knows how to tell whether or not this voice is lying, please let me know.
This month is full of wonder and magic, and by that I mean more Lean Cuisines, afternoon jogs and weight loss from areas I don't actually care to lose weight from. I'm pretty sure that if the weight doesn't start coming off from somewhere other than my waist soon, I'm going to have to file a formal complaint to my thighs. Those jerks!
(nose ring!)

Is it summer yet?
I've been waiting for it to feel like summer, but I don't think it ever will. At least our trip over the Memorial Day weekend felt like summer. Houston is always a dependable 95 degrees or so in May. Hot weather seems to make husbands sport their 70's mustaches...
Anyway, it's another day of Lean Cuisine and Diet Coke for lunch. What's my world coming to? I'll tell you what it's coming to! 115 pounds if I keep this up!

Rainy Hair Day
It's been a long time. I shouldn't have left you, without a dope beat to step to. Which reminds me; I've always wanted to download that Aaliyah song, and perhaps I'll take care of that today.
Today is Sunday, and it's rainy outside. Luckily, it's not rainy inside. Inside, Brent is reading a book on his Kindle...
... and I'm trying to figure out how much my hair has grown in the past several weeks. Here's me a few weeks after my last haircut in January...
... and here's me now, almost 2 months later...
I'm thinking it's close to about an inch longer. Only a year and a half to go...
On another note, I think Brent has fallen asleep. Or perhaps he's pretending to be asleep so I'll post more pictures of him.
In summary, rainy day equals sleeping Brent plus Hipster-style self portrait taking Kara.
Next weekend? The Scoggins' are here! A-train and Choice Fruits take LA. Or, Mr. Scoggins and LaFemme Nikita take LA.

Makeover
Brent's asleep, and I'm having fun trying on new hairstyles at instyle.com!
Should I go blonde? I think this was supposed to be Ashlee Simpson's haircut...
And of course, Miley Cyrus...
RIHANNA.
I think Rachel McAdams is my favorite.
